It is a great shame I haven't seen this movie before, but I just got 4 minutes in and got the name "Leon Kowalski" thrown at me. Was there any intentional connection to the character of Kowalski from 1971's Vanishing Point, like in Gran Torino? What other movies might have made an allusion to the original Lone Driver?
